THe only thing that strikes me about this is that the logo/header banner looks so separated from the rest of the design. Completely different styles there. Maybe scatter some snowflakes around in the background, or change the colours to match better.

yeh i like this design. i always have an attracktion to tables.. they seem to turn me on , heh .. yeh looks good ..
maybe put your copyright info in a box... or something? rounded corners on the navigation bar?. ..some little things like that.. but theres probably no need to spend the time to get that sort of thing on it - looks cool...

Nice looking site. The only thing I'd say is that I'd have the picture opening in more of a pop up type window rather than another complete browser window and set it up so it's the size of the picture so you don't need to scroll to see it all. Also the News Archive links opens a new browser as well.

Good looking layout
Have you thought about connecting the top and side sections? or something, the banner just seems to want to be more apart of the layout.
You should also think about changing the link colors, hard to make out what is a link and what is text

in IE, the update bit says "Updated on 12/16/2001 19:00:19"
but in NS 4.7 it says "Updated on Thursday, January 01, 1970 13:00:00"
