I agree! If I could do it all over again I would do something as general as possible that would allow me to take courses from as many disciplines as I liked. Lots of electives.

Have a great time at college - and do what you want. Take classes that you want to learn about, not what you think you have to learn about - that's my advice.

I can't agree more, money is not, and should not be the main issue. I guess it is a good idea for me to have a good idea what I will be doing, but yes, I feel college is a time for me to experiment and look at other options.

Often times what we study in College is not what we do in real life. Case in point, I majored in Organic Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. Now I build websites. Just keep in mind that you have 4-10yrs that you will spend at college. It should even be a while before you have to declare a major. So what you start with or even what you graduate with, may not be what you want to do for a living. Just make sure that you don't get into something that you hate for the money.

Yeah I agree, I always felt that a business background would be helpful, regardless of your major.

What exactly does that kind of a program entail? I definitely think it would be a good idea to get some sort of business background. I think that you should look at college as a place to get broader skills that you'll be able to apply not only in your career but life in general.
