&lt;p&gt; Anything is possible.  The real question is: Is it cost-effective?  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1)you have to pay for that hotel...system&lt;br /&gt;
2)you have no idea what the innards look like&lt;br /&gt;
3)you or someone you hire will have to rewrite 2 types of code -- cosmetic (eg, replacing &#039;hotel&#039; with &#039;bus&#039;) and functional (eg, people reserve specific rooms, but not specific seats on a bus)&lt;br /&gt;
4)you will have to test the rewrite, debug it, and test again&lt;br /&gt;
5) rewriting the code requires permission from the people who wrote it&lt;br /&gt;
6) on and on and on and.....&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Why don&#039;t you simply write one from scratch?&lt;/p&gt;
