You might find the dHTML script/tutorials at my site interesting and/or helpful (GrassBlade, in my sig). They may or may not be as up-to-date and exhaustive as others, but they have helped a number of people get a grip on dHTML.

I don't really have a grip on the JS or much of the positioning (I can just format text and stuff )- i guess i have some other stuff to learn first huh?

My boss, just bought 12 more domain names... so i should be in the world of templates for the next couple of weeks.

I don't really mind though - they had my writing the help menus for software last month - now THAT was boring...

Anyways, depending on if i get into Sheridan for this coming Sept, I might be quitting in August.

Hey, ktown! What have you been working on lately?

You do know that dHTML is just a combination of HTML, CSS, and Javascript, right? So before you get into trying to code your own dHTML you should have a good handle on those three things. Particularly the positioning aspect of CSS-2.

Personally, I have found that dHTML is more trouble than it's worth in most cases. Those expanding menus are cool but such a pain in the butt. So many little changes can make a big difference, and of course, it seems like every browser handles things slightly differently so it's a real challenge to get things working right in all of them.

The only thing I can suggest is looking for scripts online and trying them out in your own pages. I think this is how most of us work with dHTML.
