    <description> &lt;p&gt;You&#039;ve had alot of views on this and no replies so I will be the first to reply.  I don&#039;t know how much I can help but I&#039;ll try.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The only way I can think of to do what you are doing is to run a program when you click on the link.  I don&#039;t know if you can run a exe file (like the printer installation file) through a hyperlink, I think it will just try to download the file, not run it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You could possible write a very easy program in Java, VB, or possibly even JavaScript or VBSCript.  When you click on that link, the program would execute, and all the program would do is run the printer install.  In VB the function to run another program is &quot;Shell&quot;.  But I&#039;m not sure of how you would do this over a network.  Sounds like a fun project.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&#039;m sure the actual program itself wouldn&#039;t be too complicated, but I&#039;d be alot of work to find out how to do this over a network.&lt;/p&gt;
