The z-index of drop down image should be higher than those of the background images (the images you see upon loading the page).</p> <p>Upping the z-index of the overwritting layer should up it's visibility above other layers.</p> <p>Have you tried using SPAN? Shouldn't be any difference I don't think actually. What DHTML does NS6 support? What's the Z-INDEX number of front images, and what is the Z-INDEX number of the background drop-down?
