    <description> &lt;p&gt;maybe you are right...  i just want to get something that wont soon be old school.  i&#039;m sure i could probably stick with the t-bird, but for only a little bit more i can get the xp.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i am running a dual boot of win98 &amp;amp; XP-  soon to be solely XP.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;amp; yes i already have all that software.  legal? well, of course.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Hmmm... If thats all you are gonna use it for, I dont think you need an XP 1500. The 512 RAM and 60GB HD are fine for graphics stuff you appear to be doing... What OS are you running?&lt;br /&gt;
My experience with graphics manipulation has been this: A PIII 733mHz-1gHz works just fine, no need to push it up to 1.5gHz.&lt;br /&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;I&#039;d suggest stay away from soyo... I had a lot of problems with them, they fried 2 AMD 1 GHZ T-Birds...&lt;br /&gt;
I&#039;m using an MSI board, and its nice... LiveBIOS really helped with overclocking, because there are no switches to set, its all in the BIOS setup.&lt;br /&gt;
What are you using this machine for?&lt;/p&gt;
