add border="0" to the table the top-bg01 background is on, netscape has a different default to IE, Netscape uses a default of 1, IE uses 0

if you always want tight tables, always use border, cellspacing and cellpadding = 0 (all three)

Not too bad. You should add alt tags to all of your images. Some Linux Nerds still use Lynx to view webpages. The alt tag helps them figure things out a bit more. A few other things that might not appeal much to the Linux only crowd are the IE only things like colored scrollbars, mouseovers, etc. Normally I wouldn't worry about it but some would not like it much.

It looks very professional and clean. Some of it looks quite like SourceForge in spots but better.

Be careful also when you talk about Slackware

I run it on my server. The main thing that's harder is the install, since you have to use Fdisk or CFdisk. There are no rpm's which is a good thing IMHO. But I digress.

The code could be cleaned up a bit to remove some of the deadspace towards the end.

thanks you , i've fix the channel selection on netscape 4.7, but still cant figure out a way to put the top header straight, i tried add width="30" after the background image still cant get it to work
