You might want to try Fireworks if you're looking for something different. It was made specifically for web graphics so it's got a lot of neat tools for that. It's really good for sharp edged shapes and things like that - the TWF logo header was made in Fireworks for example. If you're looking to do more with photo editing then Photoshop might be a good program to try.

I basically use Macromedia - Dreamweaver for html editor and Fireworks for graphics, plus some Flash.

I downloaded Photoshop 6 and installed it on my pc but for some unknown reason it just won't work and brings up an error message saying not all components installed. Tried this 4 times on two machines now & so have given up!!

What exactly are you looking for?
Other good graphics programs include photoshop, though it may be a little expensive..
Also, check out Macromedia Dreamweaver for a good WYSIWYG editor, and then home site for a text-based editor.

Good luck!
