Hmm, it appears that RAM has nothing to do with HomeSite's resource problems. I recently added 256 (giving me 512) and I still have issues

The main difference between the Pro version and the Home (why do they keep renaming those things) is that the Pro version will support multi-processors. Here is some additional info for you.

I, for one, am skipping this upgrade, both XP and Homesite.

Yeah, that was a bad idea from the start. the only thing that really bothers me is that it won't run personal web server Which is really slowing down the PHP learning process... should I go for the home version or pro? I could probably afford home right now, but pro would have to wait... that's $350 canadian right there... plus shipping...

Megan, it is probably easier to install RAM then it is to get the cover off. It can only go in one way and it is hard to break anything. The only thing you need to watch out for is static.

Is RAM hard to install at all? I'm guessing that it's not but I've never tried to fiddle with my hardware before... Would I be able to put it in myself with no problems?
