    <description> &lt;p&gt;As Megan has pointed out, making the 1pix image will help to solve the problem.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You are getting two colors, because you probably lost some of it while optimizing your graphics for web - it happens very often.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Probably.  The best solution would be to make a .gif with that background colour and use that as a background image instead of relying on the browser to render the colours properly.&lt;/p&gt;
