Do you mean it annoys you while developing?&lt;br /&gt;
I get the idea that it&#039;s just a preset on your machine. If that&#039;s the case then it&#039;s not to be altered by HTML, Javascript or a clientside script or whatever else... &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If I&#039;m right: Start/Settings/Control Panel/Sounds and Multimedia (for Win2000)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;hope it helps you out...&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;I am wondering. You can&#039;t disable the sound but you can possible disguise it if you had some &#039;white noise&#039; or non-annoying music running in the background as a .wav file looping. It may be something to play around with.&lt;/p&gt;
