Try http://www.myfonts.com/

http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ allows you to upload an image and tells you what the font is. Haven't used this.

There is also a Discussion Forum asking your very question - http://www.myfonts.com/FontForums/list.php?f=5 What's this font?

If you have to start again, Font-a-licious Fonts (and many other font sites) do a lot of those font styles.

Good luck.

OK.

The PSD is a photoshop metafile.

Thanks.

BTW:

PNG has nothing to do with fireworks.
PNG is basically a patent free GIF with truecolor capabilities.

A PSD file is an originol Photoshop image which hasn't been exported or saved for the web.
The same way Fireworks save images as .png

I think.

Thanks.

But what the hell is a PSD-file ?

I have the original XCF-files, but didn't use dynamic text, since the whole thing was script-fu'ed. And I lost the scripts....

Anyway, looks like I have to find a new font and start from scratch...

The truth is, I'm really not sure which font that is-- but if you have the PSD file from creating the original UI, you should be able to find out by attempting to edit a text layer. When you do, it should tell you that you don't have ____ font installed. You can also of course look on various font sites.

Good luck!
