    <description> &lt;p&gt;I&#039;ve used PHP.  I haven&#039;t done dynamic imaging with any other server side languages, so I can&#039;t really compare.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It&#039;s pretty easy, but I don&#039;t think mosts hosts run the latest version with all the image functions.  (my last host didn&#039;t have eliptical functions)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;i&#039;ve only once donr server-side imaging before, for a graphing app, using perl/cgi. its not bad, and it renders quite quickly. i heard that ASPImage does a good job, but i&#039;ve never used it. you may want to explore ColdFusion too...&lt;/p&gt;
