    <description> &lt;p&gt;I think you are talking about a &quot;forward&quot; not a redirect. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In a forward, the request for one page (&quot;page1.html&quot;) is passed on to another page (&quot;page2.html&quot;) without the browser knowing anything about it. In fact, the address bar in the browser would still say &quot;page1.html&quot;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I know you can do this in JSP, not sure about PHP or PERL&lt;/p&gt;
