Try using something like that instead -- the function is in the and allows you to name the main window that the script loads into, so you can use the popup as a remote, as well you can set the window.focus to keep the popups on top of the main window.

The tutorials linked in there are where the script comes from, and are VERY useful for understanding what you are doing.
