Try hostyard.com
They offer 200 MB of space and 3 GB data transfer for $39.95 a YEAR.
You also get a CGI-BIN, perl/cgi support, PHP4 support, MySQL, catch-all emails, email redirects, SSI and much more.
http://www.hostyard.com
hope this helps!

Also read the terms of service before you signed up
i have been burned by a couple companies who say
"Unlimited transfer" but when u reach there secret amount of 5-10 gigs they charge u up the arse
i had one company try to bill me 190 bucks in over transfer rates even tho my contract said unlimited and when i went and read there terms of service it stated like we provide unlimited transfer rates as long as you dont exceed 5 gig per month

No, that ocean hosting solution sucks.

Besides phenominal hosting(which can offer great bandwidth b/c it does not allow custom CGI) there is also tera-byte and liquid web, both which offer 20gb/MONTH and reasonable prices. I'm a reseller for both of them and I'm looking to use their services myself.

Always remember the numbers game. Some hosts bank on the fact you wont use all of yours. If you find a plan that gives a lot of bandwidth for a low price ie 20 gigs for 10 dollars(thats a loss at even 1 dollar a gig which you wont see) ask around to others who use the service and a lot of bandwidth. I not trying to say that all hosts with high bandiwdth low cost is bad or that they are lieing to you by offering that. Just ask around and see what others say first. I had my share of bad hosts because of this.

Why dont we support the members of this forum.

Try out the hosts you see as banners. They are active members and could use the help.

You would get something. THEN REVIEW THEM! HAHAHA that would be great. A way to weed them out as they say.

In general, I'd be leary of a host that offers so much space and bandwidth (especially the bandwidth) along with many other "unlimiteds" at such a low price. Something isn't Kosher either in the business or how they're setting up thier servers.

Maybe you could try prohosting.com they only cost 17.95 a month and you get 200mb space, cgi,ssi access(and maybe ssl aswell) and 15gb of bandwidth a month. Umm you get unlimited e-mail accounts and 24/7 technical support and there is no setup charges. There servers are fast aswell. you might wanna chek 'em out. well see ya later.

i know it costs more than hotrocket but you could always have a look.
