Disastermaster,

Thanks for pointing me to those sites, but they really didn't give me any more information than I already have. I can play the sound with no problem, it's the volume control that I can not get to work. These site, and all the others I've been able to find, all indicate a "volume" parameter on the tag for controlling volume. The problem I'm having is that no matter what I set that volume= to, the file still plays at the same volume. I can say volume=1, volume=50, or volume=100, and it has NO effect on the volume of the midi that I play.

Anyway, thanks again for trying, I really appreciate your time!

Have you tried different media types?
Maybe midi files can't have their volume adjusted.
