I tweaked the navigation a bit, as well as adjusting the layouts of the little sub-page things and the text and link colors. I hope it's a little better.

Yeah, I definitely think the navigation is a problem - maybe the text descriptions could pop-up in a more obvious place when you mouse over the boxes - I didn't really think to look in the status bar for that. I'm also finding that there's not enough contrast between font and link colours and the background colour - makes things really hard to read. I was quite surprised when the Journal link sent me to another site.

It's really nice to look at, but there are a lot of usability issues. There's also the lyrics on the front page - why? The title "Push Me" - what's up with that? the word "remember" across the person's (your?) forehead there. Huh? All of that right on the front page combined with a lack of clear indication of who and what this site is about is really confusing me.

Although I like the look of your site, I believe that it may be beneficial to change the design and try to increase useability.

The images did take a while to load, although it came up at around 10 seconds (using a 1meg line though)

Personally, I didn't like the navigation system you used, but that may just be personal taste. I tend to prefer more obvious navigation links and believe your site would be better using them.

well, the pic at the main page takes too long to load and the navigation there is not clear. you have the squares to point but you don't see, where you're going after clicking. if you wanna use those squares, use the place of 'Navigation' to write where you're going (art, journal, ...).

on the rest of the pages, the nav is probably too small and the hover-effect's not very visible. why not make the text normal instead of italic (on hover)?

the image 'remember' on the left side takes too much space around the navigation. you could make it smaller and place the nav a little bit more to the left.

but all in all i like the style of the site.
