It said something about blocks being moved or sumthin.</p> <p>Anyway, I booted off the install CD, and made a bootdisk. Then I booted off the floppy, and was able to get into the GUI.</p> <p>What we figured out was that we had VNC server start on boot, and it was stopping the boot for a password, which we couldn't enter from the regular boot (graphical). You should have an option for failsafe mode. This will put you in runlevel 3, which is the non-graphical mode. Not totally sure what is causing the X-font server to hang. I did find <a href="http://www.mandrakeuser.org/docs/xwin/xtroub.html#Issues" class="bb-url"><strong>this</strong></a> on Mandrakeuser.org's site.
