There are 3 pages included here.

1. ChooseFile.asp
2. FileUploaded.asp
3. PopUp.asp

You choose a file from ChooseFile.asp and click upload. While it's uploading PopUp.asp shows up with a nice "Please wait while it's uploading" message. When it's done uploading it then closes PopUp.asp and ChooseFile.asp changes to FileUploaded.asp.

I hope this helps.

I have it working now but I think there should be a better way.

I don't think I understand the question ....

I fill out a form and click submit. A new window pops up (at the same time as a 'file' is being uploaded), and then closes when a new page is loaded. New page?? From where??

Perhaps a little more description will help someone suggest a solution to the problem.
