They run RedHat 6.2 boxes (okay not Unix but close). They have an online forum. <a href="http://support.hostmatters.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=214" class="bb-url"><strong>Here</strong></a> is a thread in their forum about the pros and cons of Hosting Matters.
