First, make the photo an object. Then Make a seconde keyframe. Now, go to the first keyframe, and use transform to make it soom in, and move the photo so that you can oly see the pinnacle, the right click between the two keyframes and select create motion tween. Done.

Flash question

That works, thanks Megan. In this case, the effect I'm looking for is where I zoom out from a particular point in the photo, as opposed to zooming in and out of view of the whole photo. For instance, starting at the pinnacle of a mountain and zooming out to show the whole mountain. That's really what I'm looking for.

Thanks,

This is pretty easy to do. Put your picture on the stage and make it a symbol (this is important - it has to be a symbol). Then scale it down to the smaller "in" state. Next, insert a keyframe where you want the "out" state to be, and scale your picture up to the large size. Right click and create motion tween - this should make it zoom in now. Insert another keyframe (best to do it the same distance apart as the first two) and scale it back down again (or copy and paste from the first "in" state to have it scale proportionally). Create motion tween again. There, now you've got it zooming in and out.

Flash zoom

Hi there,

Probably once will suffice. There is a good example of this effect at chickcorea.com/ a pop up movie loads automatically when you connect to the site. Although, in this instance, I'm not looking for the looping effect.

Thanks,

Tony

do u want the zoom effect to keep repeating? i.e zoom in, then out, then in again, or do u want it to zoom just once?
