Thanks for the suggestion Megan. I will definately take into consideration the shortening of the motto. That just popped into my head one day and it kinda stuck.

Between Keegan2, who has been a great help to me today, and you I may get this thing off the ground. I have been in a major slump with this site for months now.

Hmmm.... I kind of think that you could find a better way of representing the Graphiti aspect - I agree with altahit about the grafiti font. Seems like with a name like that you need a sort of a rougher style for the lettering. Maybe just have "Graphiti" written in a grafiti style font and then do "Virtual" and "Web Design" in a simple sans-serif.

As for your motto, I think that needs to be reworked a little bit too.

"Let us create the virtual extension to your reality."

How about just "Virtual extensions of reality"? Something shorter would probably be easier to work with

I hate doing logos too - with mine I just happened to come across a dingbat that I liked, which became the theme for my whole site. Then, since it's a personal site, I picked a handwriting font for the lettering that is sort of simlar to my own handwriting (originally I wrote it myself using a tablet but I couldn't get that looking quite right).

That was so nice of you to make that logo. I will give it a try and see what it looks like. Actually you hit the colors right on the head. I am using gray, black and a dark green for my colors. I will post a screen shot later so that you can see your artwork in action.

Thanks detox. Glad to know that I am not alone. I guess it is just that with me starting my new web design business, trying to get the site online, worrying about what color scheme I am going to use,(i should know the hex chart by heart) what layout, text, logo.....

Oh well, I am sure you have all been there. Maybe I should just step back for a couple of days and get focused. Yep, I think that is what I will do.

To altahit...thanks for the mouse idea. I tried to do something with a mouse but it looked awful. I am definately NOT a graphics artist...LOL

I absolutely hate having to make logo's!!! It took me 3 weeks to come up with mine (<-- left) and it was so totally different from anything i had been drafting. I simply went for the feeling I wanted to put across. ie rise above the norm and do something different; hence the different color of the cube at the top.

V,G,W,D are going to be difficult to fit in to one logo!

You could do something with VG and have web design as text underneath it although that may be a little too close to VD for your liking!

How about putting the Virtual Graphiti bit in the style of actual graffitti with web design written underneath it?

How about a computer mouse image with the letters VG on the buttons and an image of a spray can on the actual mouse with the domain name underneath the graphic?

Just a few thoughts that popped in to my head.
