I visited your website and have a couple of comments. As you are aware, I'm not an expert by any means, but I personally think you need to add some graphics to give it some spice. It seems to be bare. The pages load quickly, but thats not enough to keep interest. I liked your forum and tried to register, but it kept rejecting me.

I'm working on a script of mine called Rate-32. Right now, it's done pretty good, so I'll start to redesign my website. I'll post anything I got right away, so you can give comments. That way, it will be (finaly) a good website.
BTW anybody good at design but not a programming?

Okay, okay. I just don't want the new posters to think we're not nice people Glad that's not the case here (and I know I've posted many brutal crits in the past...)

But I'm not so good in design. The coding is verry easy, but making up a good design...

Gyrbo, the thing is you don't have to be a great web designer. Some people love the programming part and don't really give a hang for the design part. Others wouldn't know how to program their VCR. But if you have a website without any design to it, you are in trouble. So I would advise you to learn some basic design or work with someone who can't program but is a great designer.

Actually as far as the rude part, I look at it like this. If your purpose is to make fun of the other person and his work, you are being rude. If your purpose is to tell the truth to encourage someone to do better, then it is criticism. Also if you look at the word rude in the dictionary, here is what you get: being in a rough or unfinished state. So it looks like there are quite a few of us that have rather rude websites. LOL.

I don't think that any of us were intending to be rude and I hope you didn't take it that way, we speak as we find here and I generally think it does help people.

I hope you stick around and participate by offering critiques on others sites.

I took it as good critique. But I'm not so good in design. The coding is verry easy, but making up a good design...
Also, I'm not verry ceptical on other sites, most of the time, I just like sites.

I don't mind you guys being so rude, it's a good base of learning. The guys from freewebspace.net only said good stuff about it, so I didn't knew it was this bad. I'll be back on you.
Really nice folks you guys.

Well actually I am harder on someone that has a site for webmasters more than I would be on someone's personal site. Just because if it is made for someone like me, my expectations are higher. And I know it is only the beginning of the site but he did ask for a review.

Now now, you didn't need to be so hard on the poor guy (?). Polls aren't a bad thing really. If the question is stupid, they are, but they can also be a good way to find out about what your visitors want to see on your site.

I would probably say that you shouldn't make a site public until you've got a reasonable amount of content there (that's why there's no meta tags, right? I never put mine in until its ready to be seen by the public). When people come and they don't see anything but "coming soon" they're not likely to return. It's fine to show it to us for a critique in the intial stages (actually, better to get it critiqued early to make it easy to change stuff).

Logos for webmaster sites are hard, I should know. It's really difficult to think of a graphic image that represents the subject, so you might want to just not bother and do something with interesting fonts instead. Or maybe just take that globe out of there and leave it like that. COuld make for a good, light look. Add some sort of tagline below the logo that somehow explains what the site is about (since that isn't obvious). Maybe fill the letters of Site-32 with a tangerine colour, or use that as a background for the header and nav areas. That would be a really interesting colour scheme.

Once you've got a logo you need to make the rest of your design coordinate with it. In this design, your logo doesn't really match the rest of the site. The pages also seem really empty - even if you imagined that there was content there.

Lots of work to do, but there is some potential IMO.

I agree with everything that's been said above. As a webmaster I don't think that this site would inspire me to use it's services.

Hé, just beginning. Well, to the trashcan I guess.

It works on a small screen (800*600) but anything larger and it looks a wee bit daft as it look so bare.

I use 1024x768 and it looks good. I was planning on adding a banner at the top, but I didn't find any good banners yet.

Not having a way of contacting you also does not instill confidence.

There is allways the forum.

What will be going on the home page once everything is finished???

News, (no poll), What the site is about,...
