    <description> &lt;p&gt;Really depends what you consider scaleable. Unless your working in some type of fortune 500, I consider any program that is able to adapt, expand, and be customized without redeveloping the core &quot;scaleable&quot;. My firm specializes in e-commerce development so that&#039;s my area of expertise. When it comes to e-com development phpShop (&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.phpshop.org&quot; class=&quot;bb-url&quot;&gt;phpshop.org&lt;/a&gt;) is the king. They plan on doing a lot more in the future with the core and it should become even more powerful.&lt;/p&gt;
