    <description> &lt;p&gt;Let us know if that works. I always just backup the /Program Files/ICQ/2000b directory because you can restore all the other ones through re-downloading it - that folder contains just the important, irreplaceable data files.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;I recently re-installed windows myself...&lt;br /&gt;
I coppied the entire ICQ directory to another drive.&lt;br /&gt;
Formatted and re-installed windows.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Install ICQ (to make any registry entries needed)&lt;br /&gt;
Copy over top, your old ICQ directory.&lt;/p&gt;
