A couple of things that I noticed. There are links for everything but there is not one for HOME. There should be. Also it looks like a graphic is missing on some of your pages. The home page is just "blah". There is no excitement at all there. After looking at the graphic on the home page, I am still undecided. Mostly it looks like it is poorly done. Sometimes though when I look at it, I kind of like it.

Why is it on Tripod? I am assuming that this is for testing purposes. I will usually just create a directory on my site and use that instead. The pop-up banners don't help you much in your presentation.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice a site for client's needs..
Personally I disagree with your client and I believe the graphic would attract for attention the way it is. Often the size of the graphic doesn't make it more noticable. Ever been to a site where you completely miss the obvious graphics and text?
You have a nice site there..even if you have to redo it from the start, you have a site premade for your next client if it fits the criteria.

Keep in mind that you don't have to have the logo small like the sapient website. You could have it across the picture on the right...

Thanks for all your suggestions.

If i make the graphic bigger the blue part has to bigger too, since it is a table and all. I COULD make the blue cell half the size but then i'd have to break up the text thats on the white part, and it would be all weird-looking on other resolutions.

I like the idea of the sapient website but my client wants the logo bigger so that "Bridgeway" is more prominant - which is understandable.

I thought the blue cell was awfully tall as it was but I thought i could fill it up well enough.

Thanks for all your help already,

Much bigger and you'll have to completely re-think the entire layout! You could try to work out something with a large faded image as a background but that would mean changing the layout.

How much bigger do they want it?

TFE, that is funny. I looked at his link and tried to figure out why it was broken. Somehow I never say the htp instead of http.

This situation for you kind of stinks huh? If you tried talking to your client about it and they still want it their way - then do it their way. But could you make the logo very large and faded so it is the background, but then have a smaller, not faded out logo up in the corner like you have it? Would that satisfy them?

Check out this website. http://www.sapient.com/home/home.asp
You could do something like this. You could have the nav down the side, and put a huge logo on the right side with text on the left side. Just an idea.

Hmmmm... as far as design goes you could make that graphic bigger (then you would make the blue area shorter, and the content area longer, instead of having the blue area the same length as the logo). Since it's the only graphic on the page it wouldn't cause too many problems with download speeds in theory. However, it is the logo, and you want to show up as fast as possible..... You can't talk him out of it? Well, that does seem to be quite a small graphic in terms of file size, so maybe it could work.
