    <description> &lt;p&gt;Just use layer effects.  Right click on the text layer and choose &quot;effects&quot;.  You&#039;ll get a dialog box with drop shadow, outer glow (which is what you want), inner glow, bevel etc.  Uncheck the check box at the top drop shadow dialog (it automatically assumes you want to do a drop shadow - at least PS 5.5 did).  Then click the outer glow tab.  Change the colour box there to the teal you want and play with the other settings until you get something you like.&lt;/p&gt;
