Different can be a good thing. Some site layouts work better depending on the people you are targeting! I myself like to see different types of layouts. All in All I think its done well. Is you music posted to preview.

Definately change the navigation background to black, it looks unfinished as it is.

Hey Megan Jack, I was thinking the same thing that it looked a bit creepy. But I don't know maybe creepy is what is desired. Good thing that you saved those pictures as black and whites. My browser would still be loading.

Hmmm... I'm not sure if I like the photo backgrounds better than the brick wall. I thought the bricks looked pretty good actually, but only in the blue. I would definitely give those nav frames a black background instead of dark grey/green.

Another thing I would do is find a more unique font than Mattisse and Chiller. Those fonts, combined with the red text you're using is giving it kind of a haunted house type of look.
