Image loading will take about:
59.89 seconds @ 14.4
29.94 seconds @ 28.8
15.41 seconds @ 56K

Go to microsoft's website and then go to the ie5 area. In the downloads section there is a developers tool? I have it on my pc and it gives you loading time etc images list document tree etc. It is a really nifty little script.

The biggest reason for the delay in loading time after the image weight is the server. I use Freeservers and my page has :

Unique images: 5
Total images: 5 Total bytes: 3679

Image loading will take about:
2.98 seconds @ 14.4
1.49 seconds @ 28.8

0.76 seconds @ 56K

I am moving to a paid host very soon. These guys have so much strain on their serviers it is not funny.....
