&lt;p&gt;To answer your questions:&lt;br /&gt;
- I&#039;m not sure what service pack is installed... I&#039;ll check on that.&lt;br /&gt;
- It&#039;s an existing table, in fact, apparently it was happening on a project that was worked on (and finished) before I started working here, so it almost makes me wonder if it is in the setup, because the same person set both of them up...&lt;br /&gt;
- It doesn&#039;t even work when I put the nvarchar field at the end (like you&#039;re supposed to for TEXT apparently)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Is this an existing table or are you experiencing this problem when creating new tables?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Have you installed the latest service pack (3), maybe it might fix this.&lt;/p&gt;
