thanks for the info susan,and i guess your right about popup window possibly being a invasion of privacy to certain people and offering them a choice to register.i think i'll try it your way first and see how it goes.

One, what's your question?

Two, assuming that you want to do this and don't know how, what you want to do is build a page with a form on it with all the bits you want. This form would be processed using formmail or something similar (cgi/asp/et cetera).

The pop-up part is just how it gets displayed. Using a JavaScript script like zerocattle.com/examples/popUp.html , but putting the call in the tag (using onLoad instead of onClick, for instance) would make it automatic. It would be nicer if you didn't, of course, and just made a nice big showy link "SIGN UP FOR OUR NEWSLETTER AND WIN!" with the popup.
