a few suggested edits - "Going Platinum" - I guess ya gotta leave "Link Referal" although these guys also answer at linkreferral.com/ - "Special Report" - "Get Response" - "Family Fun" - perhaps the best way to review this is to reflect on the Trasborg analysis - I enthusiastically advocate making reasonable space payments - I say use whatever bg you want, something appropriate to your content/style - the Welcome area is pretty large but also looks nice - there's lots of stuff on the rest of this page and this welcome space kinda sets that off - I'm just sayin' you could argue that side of it - so much nav available, gotta have some on the right - a new logo would be nice but the style matches these headers that have rollovers so... - still, room for improvement on these - I agree the material on this page could be thinned out and spread around

dragonsjaw- do you normally have your 17" monitor set to 800x600?!? My 19" is normally set to 1600x1200 (losta space!).

I have bought a domain name I was learning html and using this free server as a testing ground. Im working on my final site now. The domain name is oa1st.com but I have no host as of yet. Any advise on a good host.

I get horizontal scrolling..

Looks pretty good.

I am going to be mean for once and put in some harsh criticism. Don't think I have anything against you I am just trying to let you know how to make it better...

1) First of all, get off the free server and if you are serious you will have to buy a domain and pay for a host. The banner at the top makes it look bad and should be moved to the bottom if you decide to stay with the free host.

2) The background has to go. Pick a solid color and stick with it. The textured backgrounds were popular a while ago and aren't anymore, they still look just as bad as they did then too.

3) You will probably have to redesign the whole site... get rid of the big "Welcome" thing it takes up too much precious space and is useless.

4) Move the navigation menu to the left side. People are used to it being there and they might not notice it where you have it now.

5) Make a new logo, move it all the way to the top either to the left hand corner (if you are going to have a banner to the right) or make it a banner style logo and have it stretch across most of the page.

6) Move your actual information up more and have it equal to where the navaigation would be. Make that take up the rest of the page, or you could put a poll or something to the right of it if you want to.

7) Get rid of all the links to the free stuff off the main page and put them under subpages that have the same design as the main just with that information in there instead.

Get rid of the 100 or so plus links at the bottom of the page. They serve no purpose and are just driving traffic away from your site.

Not sure what else make those changes then I will see what could be changed from there. Sorry to sound so harsh, I'm just here to help!
