The functionality added by backend components such as ASP, Perl, PHP, Java, etc are primarily for database integration and other functionality rather then the design itself. There are some tools that make this development process a little easier, for example Macromedia DreamWeaver UltraDev, Microsoft InterDev, Visual J++, VisualCafe, etc. But just like WYSIWYG HTML editors you have to know basic concepts and coding before they become helpful.</p> <p>Take a look at devshed.com and webmonkey.com.
