The logo works for me. I always think metallic silver for Porsche not blue ... but then I drive a Chev:)

first Andy - I'd do more with the text, but I've already had problems with porsche trying to take the domain away. So I'm hesitant to get too much from them. Your point is well taken though. I think I do need a different font that says more "Porsche".
As for the colors, the blue could be a little darker. There are a lot of dark blue Porsches particularly Boxster so I'm looking for a blue tone. I don't want to get too dark though. I'll look into changing that also.
The text, yep that will eventually be justified, I don't like it centered either.
Adam - You're popints are well taken. I see exactly what you're saying and think I've done a pretty poor job in the organization department.

What do you think of the logo? Think it works?

I personally prefer sites that have a precise layout so that the visitor's eyes are immediately drawn to the important content. Everything seems to run together except where you have that line below the logo. It probably looks better on lower resolutions though. I also agree that the color scheme and layout does not have any logical connection with your target market. The Porsche is a beautiful machine with perfect curves and a very technical and classy style. See what you can do to make your site (slightly) reassemble this.

Perhaps you could use a typeface *similar* to the real Porsche site in your text logo??

That bright blue doesn't say 'Porsche' to me.

The right-hand column would be an easier read if it wasn't centered text.

Uhmmm,

I don't mean to sound thick here (it is 8am in the morning), but what is the correct URL? The addresses in your signature don't lead to anything to do with porsches.
