Usually when I show a page to a client, I just insert "place holding text", rather than sticking up an underconstruction image... This will give the client a better idea of what the page actually will look like when text is placed on it. Something to consider

Good luck!

Thanks guys,

Maverick,
actually it's for a client which I am designing. I am showing him only the main page to get his approval(layout, color scheme, photos)for his company and keeping the rest of the pages until I get paid(50% deposit)before completing everything.

anat,
Thanks for suggesting the "keywords" and pointing me in the right direction as I did a search at Yahoo and tons of sites showed up.

Regards,

Well, yeah, "under construction" gifs are very annoying and unprofessional in my view. However, if you have a client that wants to see his under construction pages and you really want to put a gif there instead of just typing in the words "under construction", just do a search on the term free clipart. All the free clipart directories have tons of these images.

ARGGGGGHHHHHHH!

There are 2 types of websites: Those that are under construction and those that are dead. If you have a page that isn't ready ready for public viewing, just don't link to it. Leave the hardhats, jackhammers and other under construction graphics to the 10 year olds on Geocities.
