&lt;p&gt;The concept...&lt;br /&gt;
you will most likely have a list of usernames/passwords (right?) or some other means of validation material.&lt;br /&gt;
Have the visitor enter his &#039;stuff&#039;, and submit it.&lt;br /&gt;
Then, on the server, check it against your list of valid usernames and passwords.&lt;br /&gt;
If there is a match, send them along. If there is no match, tell the visitor that they entered an invalid username/password, and allow them to try again. (or just boot them out to disney.com)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The language you use to do this (Perl,PHP,ASP, etc.) will depend on the server you run this on.  Also, you have a choice of using a real databse (Access, mySQl, SQL Server 7, etc.) or a flat file.&lt;/p&gt;
