I do use NN at work. It's installed there, and it's required that all sites work on IE and NN for PC and Mac.

Blank page on NN - that was sooooo frustrating! That's what I meant when I said that Netscape is not very "intelligent". But I agree, we do need to test at NN.

My stats show that 15-20% of my visitors use Netscape, so I can't just ignore them.

I would think that as a webmaster you would need to have Netscape installed, if only for the sole purpose of testing your own site. My last step before installing any significant changes to my site is to browse through it with NN. When I first put up a site and friends said there was nothing on the page, I thought they were joking with me. Turns out it was just a missing or something which I had never caught due to my use of IE. I don't want to lose whatever percentage of surfers use NN, as I get so little traffic as it is .

as I said earlier, I don't have any version of NN installed. That's for a reason... I don't want to use it.

We fixed it and it's working now. No offence anyone, but IMO Netscape is a bit well... stupid! It can't figure anything on its own. Different extention, open table tag, anything is enough to throw it out of its wits.

The .ext files should have a .jpg file extension instead. Explorer understands that they are JPEG files and displays them but Netscape has no idea what they are so it shows a broken image.

I'm guessing that NN is choking on the extension. But I don't have NN installed so I son't know exacly what's happening

well, I don't think it's your programmers ASP skills that is the problem... Because everything seems to be printed correctly.
