Before PS5 Eye Candy was really useful for beveling and drop shadows, but now Photoshop has that built in. Most of them are pretty specialized - I don't think anyone would really use it too often. It looks like they've got a new version out though (v. 3.0 is pretty outdated now, but the new one could be interesting if you use those effects a lot - like the new bevel and drop shadow filters do a lot more than Photoshop does and they've included some common effects like chrome and glass). It really all depends on whether you think you'd want to use those effects a lot. Personally, I think it would be a cool tool to have but not something that's really necessary.</p> <p>P.S.
