    <description> &lt;p&gt;Yeah, I agree with Megan. After PS 5, it&#039;s not all that essential anymore... I can easily do the same thing by right clicking on the layer and choosing the effects box.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;I really don&#039;t think it&#039;s worth it anymore now that PHotoshop has so many filters built in.  Before PS5 Eye Candy was really useful for beveling and drop shadows, but now Photoshop has that built in.  Most of them are pretty specialized - I don&#039;t think anyone would really use it too often.  It looks like they&#039;ve got a new version out though (v. 3.0 is pretty outdated now, but the new one could be interesting if you use those effects a lot - like the new bevel and drop shadow filters do a lot more than Photoshop does and they&#039;ve included some common effects like chrome and glass).  It really all depends on whether you think you&#039;d want to use those effects a lot.  Personally, I think it would be a cool tool to have but not something that&#039;s really necessary.&lt;/p&gt;
