I really have no idea why that looked familiar. It might just be the general look and feel or the combination of arrangement and colours that is similar to something I've seen before, not the specifics of the design. Obviously it is very unique - I didn't mean to insinuate that you were copying something else or anything like that.

seen it before? I doubt it, that is original work. Maybe it's the face in the corner, it creates a very "familiar feeling".

yeah, we are still "playing" with the content area to see what goes best. That is definitely not how it will look when we get all the other sections up.

it's a long story but when it was a personal site it stood for lyrics heaven (I had the space on fortune city), but about a year or two ago, I noticed there were some other "lyric heaven's" out there so I decided to get rid of that, but I already had the domain...so it became just lyricsh.com .

oh yeah and also lyricshq.com was a very popular lyrics site and I got alot of users who mistyped the URL . but that isn't why I registered it.

For some reason I feel like I've seen this before, although I really have no idea why!

Anyway, I really like the header a lot! It looks great! I don't like all the gray around it though. I think a white background for the content area would be better.

Does the "H" stand for something? That kind of confuses me. Maybe it stands for "Headquarters"??? I wonder if that could be incorporated into the header somehow...
