I use Brinkster too. (the free one)
I don't have a full fledged site on them, I just use it for developing.

For example I'm making a forum for Liquid Plastic Productions here. the forum runs on an access database.

Brinkster was the first (and only) ASP supporting FREE host I found, so I got a few accounts and am happy with them so far. Again, I note that I have only used them for developement so far. When the forum is complete, I'll think about the hosting situation.

Thanks for your comments, guys, but my database is in Access. As far as I know, that confines me to an NT server. Most of my site development is done on my computer at work (dead times, over lunch, etc.) and I am not permitted to load any software onto that machine, so using another database is not a good option for me. Even if that were not the case, the "learning curve" of changing databases and/or programming languages would be another troublesome issue for me at this point.

So again I ask, can anyone recommend a good "budget" NT host?

If you're site is such an important online resource (Cancer drugs seem like a very important subject) then I agree with Fair.

It's worth spending a little more for a more reliable Unix platform.

go to a unix server, more stable, just my opinion.
