Here's an idea: Can you transfer your domain name to a domain management service, setup a free page somewhere then set the name server to point your TLD to the free service's URL for your page? IOW your TLD name will be a pointer to the free service's URL.

Still sounds like a lot of work though.

Regarding your question, it's quite difficult to find a host that offer free hosting assuming you have a domain name.

Most probably you can get sub-domain where there are plenty around.

I came across one that will host your domain name with only a link to their site(no banner), off-hand I can't remember the url. I will email you should I come across it again.

I would suggest the following:

1)Use a redirect service for your domain such as http://www.domainredirect.com to your free space. They also provide DNS(nameservers) for your domain.

2)Register with http://www.netcolony.com which offers 100mb, cgi-bin, ftp and many more or http://www.50megs.com which also offer similar features.
