At home now...

It looks fine here. It did take a little while for the menu to come up, but then I've just got really slow connection here (something I desperately need to do something about!)

I'll check that nobreak page at work tomorrow.

Total download is in the order of 19000 bytes (according to NT's networking control monitor), so that's no problem ... trouble is I never clear my cache so some of your content might have been there since I looked some time ago.

And I didn't notice any screen weirdness.

IE5, 1024 px

Strange. I think the JavaScript code specifies the font size, and that font size is rendering larger on your computer causing it to wrap. Hm. I don't really know what I can do about that so I'll try to get a consensus and see who has the same problem! I might try putting in tags around the text, but that might make it really strange. I don't know!

Does anyone else get the same distortion?

Thanks for your help! (Let me know if you get the same results at home.)

Phyllis

Okay, I just set up this test page using tags around the info for each of the menu items. It looks the same to me. Megan, does it look any different when you look at it? I left off the top frame in this test page.

Weird! It's doing the same thing in Netscape as well, but the Dynamic Drive site looks fine!. It must be a problem with this computer or something - this isn't the only thing that has rendered strangely.

P.S If I remember I'll try this at home on my dial up and let you know about the download speed.

Weird! What version of IE is that? I've checked this on a bunch of stuff and never seen anything like that!

Do you get the same problem on Netscape? If you follow the "Nav II" script link above, does their example look weird on your computer?

Something wacky is going on with that menu system - here's a screenshot:
