Yeah, you definitely need some colour on here. The black and white look is very bland. It's also a little hard to read the white text against the light gray background.

Now, I really can't figure out what this website is supposed to be about. There's really nothing that stands out - just your basic free e-mail, search, sponsorships etc. Everything I see on here is really vague... it's rather bewildering...

I think there should be a border around your intire site.
And add some cell padding and spacing, or one or two pixels.

Try making a nice logo too, add some life.. bang boom smash...

Try adding some colors not black and white.

I think the 'today is' box is useless. I think if we would want to know what day it is, we would look on the calender or the computer..

I noticed that all the pages have big bulky logos, try making them smaller..
