Otherwise people will get different charcters on diferent machines. I checked the page in Andy's link and where it says it has letters in Spanich (accented e's etc.) I see characters in Hebrew.</p> <p>I think there's a meta tag which identifies the language. I know that when you enter a site in a foreign language sometimes IE tells you to download that specific language characters.
