The real audio server installed in a few minutes on my RAQ3 and it works just fine. Just use the standard Linux version.

Yeah, HTTP streaming works just fine. However this client is a music portal site and a streaming server would be more appropriate. As I said above, they’ve got the wrong server for the job, but I’ve got to make it work for the next 6 months. The RaQ 3i is a AMD 333Mhz system I believe, rather then the MIPS processor.

Anyone know if you need a special version of Real Server for the Cobalt RaQ 3i or will the standard Redhat Linux version work?

You must be working on a different type of RaQ than I have since mine is a linux box hmmmm? Just riding you like a pony. (But shhhhh, it's true!)

If you just want to http stream the RA files, you can follow any one of the millions of directions available at any web host on how to do this. Just look at their FAQ/Support/Manual section.

Now, if you want to install and run a RA server, then you'd have to check with real.com as to how to go about that. I'm guessing you just want to http stream 'em, but don't know for sure.
