Thanks for the reply but what I want it to do is
to go from a frames page to a non-frames page.

At the moment when I click on a link it opens it in
the frame instead of opening it on top.

Never was very good at explanations

When you define your initial frameset you need to provide a name for each frame like this:

Then when you want a link to load in a certain frame, you use the target attribute to send it to the name of the frame you want like this:

Then the index.html file will load into the "body" frame.

I hope this helps (and I hope it's right - i haven't used frames in awhile!)
