I am not sure whether or not you wanted the entire definition list, pushed to the left or not, but that is what you was trying to do. So I just replaced the alignment in your table data cell from "center" to "left" then enclosed the upper text in a couple of tags, to align that to the center of the table data cell. Then I let the definition list inherit the alignment provided by the table data cell.

Let me know if this isn't what you wanted, and tell us more specifically what it is that you did want.
