Yep, people buy sites just like they buy companies. It happens quite often actually; change of ownership. Anyway, I agree with Brians' evaluation model.

yeecchh it'd be too time-consuming to parse through all the html manually and figgring out what exactly has been coded, just to change stuff and/or upgrade/add to the site.

I would recommend taking the current income you're making from your site per month, then multiply it by 12 or 6 (for 1 year or 1/2 year, respectively), then adding a few more dollars on for the other work you put into it (design, etc.)

Then, see if anyone will buy it for that much. If so, great. If not, try lowering the price until you find a buyer. Keep in mind, though, that I haven't seen many people on the market to buy an already existing site... but you never know!

hmm, no offense but maybe a couple hundred. Personally I would rather build my own site in the same catergory because I think thats more fun.

If I was really into buying I would pay no more then $250.
